After we arrived at Whittier and got off the ferry, the only way out of town to continue to Seward was to travel through the 2.5 mile single lane Anton Anderson Memorial tunnel. Every half hour the tunnel changes directions. We were one of the first vehicles off the ferry so we did not have to wait long. Click on any of the thumbnail pictures to see an expanded view.
