BWCA 2010

These are a selection of pictures taken during our BWCA trip in mid October of 2010. We originally planned on being there for about 6 days but only stayed for two. The weather was sunny but cold and very windy. The winds were so high that we could not travel on the route we had planned because of high waves and "white caps" on the lakes. It got well below freezing at night and you can see from one of the pictures, ice was beginning to form on some of the protected bays. Click on any of the thumbnail pictures to see an expanded view.
