Agua Dulce, CA. to Hikertown

Section E begins at Agua Dulce, CA. at about 2500 feet. The trail initially heads North out of Agua Dulce for a few miles and enters the Liebre Mountains. The trail then swings Northwest presenting magnificent views to the East down into the Western arm of the Mojave Desert. The trail reaches its highest elevation of just over 5700 feet before descending to 3000 feet at Hikertown in Antelope Valley. Section E continues on across Antelope Valley into the Tehachapi Mountains. Our adventure ended at Hikertown at trail mile 516. Pictures of Section E are divided into the categories shown below.
