Big Bog SRA

We left Bemidji and stopped to see Jerry and Cynthia Horton at their summer place near Max, MN on our way to Big Bog. It was great to spend some time with them and see the progress on their new place on Little Sand Lake. It was an uneventful ride to Big Bog but when we got there we were greeted with some rain showers. After the rain, we went on the new (2005) one mile long bog walk. We stopped for pictures at the boat landing, Tamarack River and swimming area on Upper Red Lake. Click on any of the thumbnail pictures to see an expanded view.
