2012 West Coast Scooter Trip

CA - Death Valley - Mesquite Springs Campground

We camped at Mesquite Springs Campground on the North end of Death Valley. The campground was at about 1800 feet and no shade expect up next to the bathroom buildings. We spent the day trying to stay out of the direct sun. When the sun got down behind a nearby ridge, we could go out and explore the area. We had a psycho Jack Rabbit that was hanging out near us all day and would follow us around the camp. No fear of rain, so we did not put the rain cover on the tent.
