Vancouver Island, BC Canada - Sooke Potholes Regional Park

The potholes at Sooke were not what we had expected from our previous “pothole experiences”. These were potholes in the middle of the stream that created deep pools in the stream that were attractive to swimmers during warmer periods of the summer. There were also the typical potholes, a few feet in diameter along the shore rocks which is what we expected to see. Click on any of the thumbnail pictures to see an expanded view.
