NV - Extraterrestrial Highway

After entering Nevada, we continued West on Hwy 318 until we intersected the Great Basin Highway (Hwy 93). We headed South and West on Hwy 93 passing through Caliente, NV (6000 feet) and continued on to Crystal Springs, NV where we picked up the Extraterrestrial Highway (Hwy 375). We dropped to about 5000 feet as we approached the Rachel plateau. In addition to many Joshua Trees, we also passed the "Black Mailbox" (which is not actually black) that is well known to UFO enthusiasts.
