Petrified Forest

The Petrified Forest National Park is connected with the Painted Desert Wilderness Area. The Petrified Forest can be accessed off of I-40 through the Painted Desert at the North or via State Highway 180 from the South. There are two private campgrounds at the South Entrance to the Park just off Highway 180. Click on the thumbnail pictures to see an expanded view.
