Wisconsin Bike Trip
July 16 - July 25, 2015
These are a selection of pictures taken during our 2015 Wisconsin Bike Trip. Pat, Sandy David (Pat's Sister-in-law) and I did a 10-day 450 mile bicycle trip in central Wisconsin. The goal was to depart Watertown and connect via as many bicycle trails as we could to get to La Crosse and back. We stayed in motels each night in Beaver Dam, Portage, Reedsburg, Sparta, La Crosse, Viroqua, Richland Center, Dodgeville and Madison. We traveled on the following bike trails or routes: Wild Goose Trail (Lots of down trees), Levee Road, 400 State Trail, Elroy-Sparta Trail, La Crosse Trail, Pammel Creek Trail, Pine River Trail, Military Ridge Trail and numerous trails in and around Madison. Greg, Sandy's husband, joined us in Madison. When we were in Madison, some Triathletes were training and staying in the same hotel we were. We got to see them doing their swimming trailing in Lake Monona. Click on any of the thumbnail pictures to see an expanded view.
