This
website contains pictures taken during John and Pat Dickinson’s Boundary Waters
Canoe Area (BWCA) Adventure of 2015. We left
home on May 31, 2015 and returned home on June 8th. We went in at Entry Point #40, Homer Lake, North of Lutsen, MN on Highway 4.
We drove up to Beaver Bay to spend the night before going into the BWCA. We picked up our entry permit at the Tofte Ranger Station and visited Sugar Cove on the way back to Camp 61 to spend the night. We entered the BWCA at the Homer Lake entry point and spent 8 days in the BWCA. We spent the night in Duluth on the way home.
The weather wasn't bad. We only had rain 3 out of the 8 days. Fishing was not great. I caught a bunch of small Northerns, several Small Mouth Bass (a couple were good size) and one nice Walleye.
It is always nice to get up to the BWCA. It had been a couple years since our last trip to the BWCA. On a scale of one to 10, this trip was probably a 7.
